Berland free river rice and beans.

This recipe really satisfied us for two reasons: we were camping at a free spot with a delicious meal (in front of the camping site where we would have to pay… our side was better) and also because we got to use the leftovers of the Bri DCreek NO eggs available burgers.

Ingredients:
Instant rice
1 can of beans
Ground beef (leftovers from Bri DCreek NO eggs available burgers)
Bun with cheese and tomatoe

Preparation:
1) Cook the rice with some water.
2) Heat up the beans.
3) Heat up the ground beef.
4) Prepare a bun with cheese and tomatoe.
5) Mix in a plate the rice with the beans and the ground beef. Accompany this with “the bun”.
6) Enjoy!!!

Bri DCreek NO eggs available burgers.

We do not have many things available when cooking due to space or the area where we find ourselves at the moment. Besides eggs are quite something to deal with… They are not easy to handle even with the “special container engineered specifically for eggs when camping”… These burgers are amazing and were made by Brian in Dawson Creek while I enjoyed a shower, thanks Brian!!!

Ingredients:
Whole wheat buns
Ground beef
Minced onions
Cheese
Tomatoes
Salt
Seasoning salt
Pepper
Rolled oats
Olive oil
Dijon mustard

Preparation:
1) Mix: ground beef, minced onions, rolled oats, olive oil, salt and pepper.
2) Create burgers of your desired size and cook them on a frying pan with a bit of olive oil.
3) Add the burger to the bun as well as Dijon mustard, seasoning salt, cheese and tomatoes.
4) If there is any remaining beef save it for later!!!

Junky bisquicks.

This recipe is quite simple and we have to thank our friend Seonaid for introducing us to Bisquick… The first time we made it was in Whitehorse. Delicious!!!

Ingredients:
2 Cups of Bisquick
1 Cup of water

Preparation:
1) Mix Bisquick with water and cook portions as desired on a frying pan and you will get a type of pancake.
2) This can be accompanied with eggs, mustard and tomatoes if available but if not simply with butter or anything you may have at the time.
